Holey Faded Sweaters Batman!

It is easy to live with your flaws and imperfections when you do not have to look yourself in the mirror… last weekend I acquired a large mirror. Damn!

I wore this sweater to work yesterday. It wasn’t until the end of the day that I realized that there was a big hole near the cuff of the right sleeve. The more I investigated the more I realized what a ratty wad of yarn my favorite green sweater had become. Not only was there a big ugly hole in the sleeve, but the entire thing was faded and random bits of yarn had been pulled free of the once neatly knitted pattern. My favorite green sweater was kind of gross to look at and I’m more embarrassed I wore it to the office. In fact I am starting to believe that all my sweaters are in pretty much the same condition. When I think about it, I can’t remember the last time I actually bought a sweater. I guess more than ever I need to go through my closet and do some spring cleaning.

I have filed my taxes and I am expecting a refund. Some (most) of which will go to bills, but the rest I am investing in a new spring wardrobe and a new sweater for the office.

LOL! You are funny you know that? Damn the large mirror and holey sweaters! I need to do some serious spring cleaning too AND I have NOT filed my taxes yet. I guess that's like being a plumber and having leaky fawcetts. ha ha

I got my refund already. Most of it is going into redoing my craft room and a new window for my kitchen.
Have fun shopping for the new wardrobe :)

If it makes you feel any better, I never noticed the holes. ;^D
