I joined Junk it up Altered Books and went to my first group meet today. I had a wonderful time. I've never altered a book before but I've always wanted to learn. Beth and Art, the groups organizers were very friendly and extremely helpful. They made me feel very welcome and gave me a lot of helpful tips and showed me how to get started on a book that they were generous enough to let me have. I'm very excited about all the different things I want to do to this book. Every one seemed very nice and I can't wait until the next group meet.
